Time After Time

Oh, I love this song by Cyndi Lauper, written by her and Rob Hyman in 1983. Time After Time was her first # 1 hit in the U.S.

If you’re lost you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall I will catch you, I will be waiting
Time after time

You can listen to the song on Youtube here. The video is 100 percent the eighties, but the lyrics are timeless. And it’s off course totally a lovesong.

But it reminds me of my state of mind, when I’m working in my studio. It’s feels like time disappears, I’m in flow, alone and not alone at the same time. Always listen to music. In some way I consider my paintings as poems, in color and forms, dancing together and apart. Transportation of feelings from one soul to another.

These days I’m working on this big painting – 140×200 cm – for me it’s det biggest I’ve tried. Maybe I should call the artwork Time After Time? What do you think? It’s getting there, but it’s nok finished yet. I would like to hear comments. 🙂

Sorry for my poor English 🙂
